Andreas Tauschinger brings over 40 years of international leadership experience in major infrastructure and complex tunnelling projects. A Civil Engineering graduate, he progressed rapidly into senior project leadership, becoming Project Director at age 35 on what was then the largest tunnelling project in Germany, and has since accumulated more than 29 years of experience at Project Director level and above, including corporate operational responsibility for portfolios of complex projects within internationally active Tier 1 contractors.

His career spans global mega-project tendering, delivery leadership, and extremely demanding, cutting-edge underground construction and infrastructure environments, where technical depth, strategic judgement, and commercial awareness are equally critical. Andreas is recognised for combining strong technical understanding with seasoned delivery leadership, enabling organisations to manage risk, interfaces, contractual pressures, and execution challenges while maintaining focus on successful project outcomes.

He is highly respected within the industry and has served as a panel judge for the International Tunnelling Association Awards, reflecting peer recognition of his professional standing.

Dieter Meyer brings over 45 years of senior leadership experience in the delivery of major international infrastructure and complex tunnelling programmes. A Civil Engineering graduate of the Technical University of Munich, he has led complex underground and infrastructure projects worldwide, often under demanding geological and technical conditions.

Dieter’s experience spans multiple tunnelling methods including NATM/SCL, Drill & Blast, TBM (Slurry, EPB, Hard Rock, Double Shield), and Pipe Jacking, providing him with a broad and deep understanding of delivery challenges across diverse environments. He is known for focusing on practical project needs, combining technical rigour with clear operational leadership.

Respected by peers and teams alike, Dieter fosters collaborative project environments where structured planning, interface alignment, and disciplined delivery are prioritised, helping clients and partners achieve successful outcomes in complex programmes.

Rupert Sternath brings over 50 years of experience in metro and tunnelling projects worldwide. After graduating as a Civil Engineer in Austria, he developed his expertise on complex underground works in Germany and Austria before leading major metro and tunnelling programmes internationally for more than two decades, primarily as Project Director.

He has held long-term corporate leadership roles within major contracting organisations, and later contributed his expertise to large client organisations such as Deutsche Bahn on major high-speed rail and infrastructure programmes in Germany and beyond. Rupert is widely recognised for his deep technical authority and pragmatic insight on projects with significant geotechnical, interface, and execution complexity.

A respected figure in the tunnelling community, he has published technical papers and presented at international congresses, reinforcing his reputation as a trusted advisor on exceptionally challenging infrastructure programmes.

Greg Szakacs brings over 18 years of international project controls and infrastructure delivery experience across transport, industrial, and complex facility programmes. A qualified Civil Engineer with a postgraduate degree in Economics, he combines technical understanding with strong commercial awareness and structured performance control in demanding project environments.

His background includes metro systems such as Dubai and Doha, large industrial complexes, manufacturing facilities, and airport projects, working across contractor, consultant, and client organisations. This breadth enables him to understand differing stakeholder priorities and translate project data into clear, decision-support insight that strengthens coordination and programme performance.

Greg is recognised for his analytical and critical-thinking approach, enabling him to break down complex project challenges into structured, manageable actions. His disciplined planning style and collaborative manner support leadership teams with reliable reporting, schedule control, and proactive risk visibility in demanding delivery settings.
